List of things to do this week

First on the list is the rust on the front right corner of the sill and bottom of wing (surface rust).

Then, I will try and get the water that went in the blower motors out by drilling little holes in the bottom of them.

Thirdly, I will try to put some cut up sponge in the vents to stop moisture going in the boot.

Finally, I will try and refit the rear bumper so its closer to the cars body

Rust removal on sills (Part 1)

Managed to get Oliver in the garage for this week, and have a list of what I would like to get done in that time. Today, I have removed the front right mudflap to get access to some rust on the sills,cleaned it with some sanding paper. Tomorrow I am hoping on getting the rust clean and ready to be filled and then paint it with some Hammerite.To finish of I'll get Halfords to mix me a spray can so I can paint the repaired area. Also I will get some photos of how I repaired it tomorrow.

The car!

The car is a 1988 Jaguar XJ40 Sovereign 3.6 AUTO in Bordeux Red. I named it 'Oliver'.
